How does the AI assistant work?

How long does setup take?
MediShift can be set up in days, not months. An admin registers the hospital, configures shift types, and invites doctors via secure invitation links. Doctors register and start booking shifts immediately after approval.
Is MediShift HIPAA compliant?
MediShift is a workforce scheduling tool that does not store, process, or transmit patient data or protected health information (PHI). It is not a covered entity under HIPAA. All data is isolated per hospital using row-level security at the database level.

MediShift uses row-level security to isolate each hospital's data at the database level, encrypted sessions, role-based access controls, a complete audit trail of all admin actions, and automated session timeouts. Every edge function requires authentication.
